If you're getting those constant sugar cravings throughout the day, it could be because you're not having a proper breakfast in the mornings. If you skip breakfast, it is likely that your blood sugar levels will fluctuate like crazy throughout the day. It is time to correct this bad habit. Try starting your day with a healthy meal that contains lots of protein. Have some eggs, oats or at least a smoothie in the mornings.
You can also try eating whole grains and other types of complex carbohydrates such as fruit and nuts, or veggies. This will help to reduce your sugar cravings during the day.
Exercise in the morning can be also a great way to get rid of sweet tooth. Exercising will increase the amount of endorphins thus helping to shed a few pounds.
Whenever you feel a craving for sweets, try to find other substitutes that are healthier. Foods like organic dried fruit is lovely, and so are yogurt and berry mixes or desserts. For that extra kick, try adding some honey into your yogurt. Putting in a little grated dark chocolate is fine too, just don't go overboard with it.
On a final note, do not go cold turkey either. Have your sweets and chocolates (now and again) and do not deprive yourself of everything in one go. Most people who try these kind of methods are never successful at losing weight.
